In all our parishes we see baptism (or Christening, they mean the same) as an absolute joy in being able to share with this special occasion in celebrating with you the admission of your children into the church. It is a real family occasion that should be celebrated not only in the church but outside as well.

All of our baptism services are relaxed, informal and friendly and hopefully you will enjoy the service as much as your party afterwards.

We have an open policy as regards to baptism, it is not a big deal if you are a single parent or a couple that isn’t married or a couple that is married the most important part of this celebration is your child(ren).

If you would like to know more about baptism contact me; my details are below. If you want your child or children to be baptised in Roydon Church; there is normally a family service at 10am on the first Sunday of the month. In North Lopham Church there is a family service every Sunday at 11am. There will be other families at these services as well (not having their children baptised, we try to avoid that wherever we can, but just there to worship). In the other churches; Bressingham, Fersfield and South Lopham baptism can take place in the services if you wish but there is no dedicated family services in any of these churches. If you feel you can’t attend any of the services then baptisms normally take place between 12 Noon and 2pm.

Before making any arrangements please contact me about the date and time and although we can do baptisms at short notice in the summer months that is not always possible.
