An informal service

Be still and know that I am God Psalm 46: 10

The Quiet Service is held on the first Monday of the month at 7.30pm in The Parish Room in Roydon Church.

There are no vestments and the usual trappings of the church. It is an opportunity to step out of the hurly burly of life.

The service takes various forms; An evensong, compline, celtic worship, communion, a guided meditation, an hour of silence and Taize have been some of the services that we've used in the past. It is very much a service that explores possibilities and waits upon God rather than the usual services of the church. There is the opportunity to use experimental worship, to take part in and to lead the worship.

A Service of Healing from Iona Abbey

The next service is on Monday 7th July at 7.30pm in The Parish Room which is through Roydon Church.
