The rector trying to get the computer to work!
Since March 2008 we have met in The Lophams' Village Hall to play Bingo to raise money for The North Lopham & South Lopham PCCS' building projects.
We play for prizes which can be anything from a Mars Bar to Shampoo and many other household items. We have a raffle and a free game at the end.
Eyes Down!
The sessions are very reasonable we have 6 games of any line and a full house which costs £1 and if you have any additional tickets they cost 50p per 6. This includes refreshments; a tea or coffee and biscuits.
So far in 2008 we have rraised about £120 for the two parishes and at the end of the year, whatever has been raised will be split between the two parishes.
Sheer concentration-only one number needed!
Why do we call it holy? Mainly because the Rector calls the numbers using his laptop computer and his wife Jan does all the hard work in making the teas, collecting the money, checking the tickets and organising the raffle and prizes.
A couple of weeks ago we had some real fun when someone suggested in the free game that before any line we should play four corners which took some explaining but we got there in the end!
The Rector doing nothing as usual!
